Jin’s thinking about writing a new light novel!!

It’s not “Kagerou Daze” but about a new “Mekakushi Dan”!!!!

Basically Seto thought he and Mary were the only survivors after the “fight”.

When Mary woke up, she showed Seto a smile so he thought she had forgotten. He didn’t know how much was gone from her memory but at least he was sure she had forgotten about the fight, since if she hadn’t, Mary wouldn’t have smiled like that.

However, Mary remembered everything. She smiled because Seto seemed distressed and sorrowful. If Mary cried, it would make Seto even more downhearted…

“I’ve been rescued by this girl all along,” thought Seto.

(Seto) “Mary, Mary, my/the poor Mary…

It’s alright if she’s unable to do anything. It’s alright if she can’t remember anything. As long as I can do everything she can’t, it’s alright.

I have no other wish than to have that girl remain unchanged and stay the same as she is now forever.

As long as that girl doesn’t have to bear any sad thought, I’m willing to become a liar or even criminal.

I will maintain this daily life covered all over with fabrications, illusions, and open seams at all cost.

I will even forget all about that once long hair, the friends that  passed away/we lost, or this summer memory - all for her sake.

May I ask you, the unreasonable God? You’re the only one who has noticed right?

I’ve witnessed my friends’ voices overlap with the cries of cicadas for countless years already.  (*Thank you Flávia for helping me with this~ :“>)

I’ve known the fact that “they” cannot pass over that summer a long time ago.

That’s why I won’t hesitate anymore. I will use the “future” that you irresponsibly threw away, all of it, to dedicate to that girl. I’ve reached my decision. 

I definitely won’t leave that girl alone. That is my “happiness”.“
